This restaurant has charm, history, and a fantastic menu. A former busy train station it has gorgeous murals of the Peaks of Otter (mountains) and historical prints of trains. The menu is modern and extensive with a different flavored butter daily (blackberry on the day we dined there), and food combinations like roast beef with aioli sauce and grilled onions and sautéed mushrooms on a soft ciabatta roll. The service was perfect. The ambience delightful. I can’t wait to return!
I was there in 2019 and five years later I still think about the ribs I had that night... Wish I finished my plate! If you are camping and hiking along the Blueridge Parkway plan accordingly!

I love this restaurant! Their cheesesticks are amazing! Service is always great, they can be busy on Friday evenings, so a reservation may be a good idea! Sometimes they are hit or miss on their ribeyes, their salmon is delicious, and I LOVE their coconut shrimp ?
