“The customer service could use some improvement. After greeting me, the staff member took a phone order while I waited at the counter. During the 10 minutes I waited for my food, they spent the time playing on their phone. The restaurant is located inside a gas station, which might not appeal to everyone. That said, the food was absolutely fantastic! They are also running a special where you get a free sandwich if you leave a good review with a photo. Next time, I’ll definitely call my order in ahead of time.”

“Ordered Philly Cheese Steak and it was edible....kind of like a dry roast beef sandwich. Couldn't taste or see green peppers, onions and CHEESE which is what a Philly CHESS steak is supposed to be.”

“I bought a anti-pasto salad this morning and ordered extra cheese and for the umpteenth time I sure enough got charged for it but of course did not get it on the salad.”

“What a great place to eat and bring friends. We stopped here on the way back from Roanoke. We looked at the restaurants in Roanoke and nothing seemed to be what we were looking for. Something uncomplicated good Bar and the menu that was not heavy or complex. Upon entering the Restaurant it was Sparkling clean. Yea bust me sparkling is the word I would use. We had great service from Jewel who also tends bar. Great recommendations from her on Draft Beers and lunch menu. I had a Po' boy shrimp sandwich, and my wife had a buffalo chicken wrap with Crispy fries. The crispy fries might not seem like much but it's the first time they came out as requested. Their menu is not extensive, but I would give them a try next time going thru Vinton Virginia.”

“I've enjoyed Hunt Bros. for over 20 years. The slices are a great after work snack and on a "we just want the whole thing" night, one phone call is all. Our local Marathon ladies make them less than a mile from our house !”

“We love this little place! They have excellent ice cream, milkshakes, and sundaes. We love to pop in on summer and fall evenings. The shop is always clean, prices are fair and the staff is incredibly nice. The only minor change I would hope for is less air fresheners. There are too many for a small space. I would rather smell waffle cones baking or something like that.”

“Today’s buffet at Smiley’s was absolutely delicious! The food was all seasoned well, hot and just so good. The desserts were amazing!! I wanted to eat more but I just couldn’t eat another bite! If you haven’t tried their Sunday buffet….you should.”

“A nice place to grab a good home cooked meal. The prices were reasonable and the food came out very quickly. The waitress was very friendly and brought the check out and a refill when asked for though it was a busy time during Sunday lunch.

Parking: Free parking but it was busy and if it was really busy might have difficultly finding parking.”

The food is great. Cut back on that Air Conditioner tho.. Most of your customers are over 70 y/o. If the windows are frosted-over that's a red flag your dinning room is too cold.”
