“If you have not tried Stave and Cork, you definitely need to!! The owners and staff are super nice and the atmosphere is great! Love their sandwiches (prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and fig jam?! 🤤) and their charcuterie boards are perfect. You can choose the wines for your flights. I can’t recommend them enough!!!”

“After a 10 hour car ride we were looking for a place to eat, and franks was one of three options open. Safe to say it did not disappoint! The pizza was really good, and the staff was extremely friendly! We came in about half an hour to closing, and they were kind enough to put in some drinks and two pizzas for us! “I stopped by Mill Mountain Coffee & Tea this morning and had their breakfast egg omelet with a freshly brewed coffee—both were spot on. The omelet was fluffy and well-stuffed, just the right start to my day. The coffee was rich, aromatic, and clearly brewed with care from their locally roasted beans.

The vibe was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who seemed genuinely enthusiastic. It’s a laid‑back, comfortable spot—perfect for breakfast or catching up on work. Plus, this place is a local favorite and known for its great baked goods and full breakfast menu .

“Leonore’s Pizza is fantastic - I haven’t had anything there that wasn’t absolutely delicious! We are “wing people” and I honestly think Leonore’s has the best wings in town and they’re HUGE!!! You get the biggest bang for your buck with those and they’re SOOOO worth it! Every time we go in to place an order, we are greeted so warmly by the owner and he is ALWAYS smiling! You can tell that he truly loves providing delicious food to everyone who comes in. On our last visit, he recommended we try his homemade eclair and all I can say is WOW - I’d keep on going just for that alone! “Mama Maria's is now our favorite Salem Restaurant. We were gone from this area for over 22 years and recently moved back here after retiring. I have tried a lot of Italian Restaurants, but none of them match up to this one (except maybe one in NY). Since we re-found this, we have returned at least once per week since our return. Everything is freshly made and delicious. The red sauce (or gravy) is the real thing. The flavor is perfect. It is not spaghetti and meatballs. Portions are large enough to share, salads are fresh, bread comes prior to meal with 3 dipping oils which require finishing, (bread is homemade and melts in your mouth). Senior meals for people old like me are perfect size and generous, they come with choice of side salad or soup. If you happen to be there on crab bisque day...do not miss it!!! Atmosphere is clean and not crowded, Service is efficient and friendly, and it is a great value for your money!”

“I stop by Sam’s when the hunger for a good hot dog hits me, and they never let me down. The dogs are delicious and the service is always done with a smile and a heartfelt thank you from the staff. The chili and slaw are made in house and perfect for their dogs. The slaw has a little more vinegar tang than most and it works well with the other toppings. I’ll be stopping by there in just a few minutes to ruin my bicycle workout with some dogs and a cold can of Coke.”

“Tonight, I ordered a double steak quesadilla from their website for pickup at this location. I showed up at the recommended time and it was waiting on me to pickup. The food was still piping hot so I decided to eat it when I got home. The quesadilla was excellent. No complaints here. I will be back.”

The price was a bit steep for sure but very worth it with how they managed everything! Plenty of high chairs available if you have multiple small children. “I am headed south from NY and stopped of to stay the night for some rest, not familiar with the area but happened upon an Applebee's, we've all had our experiences but the young lady working the front of the house was working alone serving and bartending yet she was warm welcoming and engaging to all guests as well as effect it was a more than pleasant experience, I believe her name was Tiarra sorry if not correct, I've been in that position and in this day and agents was welcomed refreshing!
