Teppan is a restaurant that serves excellent food and offers great service. The dining area in the storefront restaurant is small and only holds 12 people, which may explain low ratings, but the food is so good that customers won't regret ordering on-line and taking the food back to the office or home. The restaurant has been described as the closest to food found in Japan locally. Service is super friendly, with tableside delivery and checking in on how customers are doing. The teppanyaki isn't sauced and salted to oblivion, portions are large, and the ramen is loaded up with goodies. The dine-in area is small but take-out is an easy option since the restaurant is relatively fast and everything is prepared to-go style. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. Menu items mentioned include Spicy Garlic Oil Ramen, Classic Tonkotsu with Charred Chashu, fried Gyoza, teriyaki shrimp with noodles and vegetables, Spicy Kani roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll. The food is hot when served and delicious, and prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is a flavorful and delicious new establishment.
