“This place is a real gem. The service is always friendly and fast. They have a lot of good flavors of Boba tea, homemade Gelato, Macarons, and other sweet treats. Soothing music, and lots of cool anime posters and other artsy decorations make it a treat for more than just the taste buds.Under new management this year, the quality has remained consistent and the new staff are wonderful. The new decor blends well with the remaining original elements. Also now has a giftshop display with lots of cute little figurines.Kid-friendliness: Vibrant decor and cool anime theme posters will excite kids and the dining area is fairly open. “Great coffee shop. Very historic building with conveniences all around. Coffee selection is great. Pastries and breakfast taste good. Staff is quick to take orders and kitchen gets food out promptly. Greta place just to relax and sip your coffee.“
“We did a quick drive through while traveling from NC to MD and afterwards we were upset we didn't tip the team more (yes even on a drive through order). Genuinely one of the most wonderful customer service experience we have had in a fast paced interaction. The whole team seems great but the worker with rainbow hair (I wanna say name was Katie? Sorry if wrong lol) was especially helpful with specific follow up questions for custom drink orders that ensured we got exactly what we wanted. After traveling with a yippy puppy for three hours this type of human interaction was incredibly uplifting. The team nailed our order as well. We'll definitely be making the trip down that way again and will be sure to stop by this specific Starbucks.“
“I usually don't leave reviews but the experience I had yesterday morning in the drive thru was fantastic! The gentleman working the drive thru was very personable, polite, and enthusiastic. Everyone that works there is awesome but the guy working drive thru yesterday took it to the next level with his customer service!“
“Just, wow..in the best way possible... The worst part about coming to this wonderful establishment, will be trying to decide what you want to eat. I found myself ogling other folks' plates, as they were all so appealing as they came out of the kitchen. First off, I can't say enough about the people..just friendly as can be. Attentive...genuinely good people ❤️. I went with the fried catfish, and couldn't have been more pleased. The breading was perfect..crispy, flavorful, not greasy at all. The sides are equally loaded with flavor.. I went with the collards (and they are done right ?), mashed potatoes and gravy, and the mac and cheese..and sweet cornbread to boot (not overly sweet, and so moist). The ribs were/are equally delectable.. Solid southern comfort food, period. 10/10... spread the word, tell your friends..this place is a gem. I'm kicking myself for not having tried it earlier...had heard nothing but good things...and the reviews don't lie..can't say enough good things about these folks.. Thank yall so much, and can't wait to get back to try the rest of the menu. Oh, solid banana pudding, and next time it'll be the cobbler.“
