“I used to really love this place and go almost every week day but now I kind of go there maybe once a week and only because it's conveniently located but the convenience factor has taken a nose dive because of one recent development: When I pay $5 or $6 for a specialty iced coffee is it too much to ask that it comes with a lid that won't leak? It drips all over my hands all the way to my office and I have to change cups when I get there. If ya get a shipment of faulty lids why not just send them back? I'd rather have no lid at all than the illusion of a lid.“

“The owner's son is not disabled and parks for extended periods in the handicapped parking when he is not doing anything for the coffee shop and has been documented shooting birds at disabled people who try to park in the handicapped parking that ask him to move and saying he doesn't have to let handicapped people use the handicapped parking spot because his mom owns the coffee shop. I do not recommend Little Green Hive Grandin for anyone who has a disability or cares about people who are disabled.“

“Sidecar is one of my favorite restaurants and cocktail bars of all time. I have lived and traveled all over the country. The vibe is impeccable and in my experience is seldom replicated elsewhere. When I lived in Roanoke I went at least once a week for a sandwich and a beer. I left Roanoke about 2 years ago, this visit I was impressed to see little has changed but the menu, which is normal and keeps things fresh. They are excellent curators of atmosphere and quality. A lot of this has to do with the staff. I had two cocktails that were on the menu 2 years ago and they perfectly replicated the old hits for me.

We did the grand plateau, which is a huge tower of oyster, clams, shrimp, lobster thermador, and crab Louie. We also got a side of some of the best poutine I’ve ever had.

I appreciate what they do. Sidecar will always be worth the stop in Roanoke for me. The drinks and the food exceed excellence. Never change (at least not too much)!“

“This is my favorite Starbucks in the area. The drive thru line is sometimes quite long but usually moves along steadily. The baristas here are SO nice. I swear they have a conspiracy to compliment my sunglasses every time. And they make consistently the best tasting drinks in my opinion (I mean I like it so much I'm leaving a review for a Starbucks...) I had the best sweet cream nitro cold brew here just recently. Love this Starbucks 😭😭“

“I live in Roanoke and everytime I head to my mom's house in Richmond I always stop at this Starbucks. It's right off of 64 and very convenient. Bathrooms are clean and they have toilet seat covers in case that means anything to anyone. Service is good. Then I'm right back on 64.“

“I do enjoy frequenting this starbucks. The employees are all super friendly and I always get my order correctly and on-time. The service I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 not because of the employees themselves as they are great, but the wait can be kind of long. I honestly think that they just need more help is all. “I have been coming here for probably 5 years now, and I love this location. I always use the drive thru and the mobile app, but the interactions I have with employees are always pleasant. Orders are almost always right on point. Sometimes they will be out of an item, but always offer to replace it with something of similar price. The coffee is good. Sometimes it varies, but I’ve never really had anything here that was bad.

“I have love Mill Mountain since being a child it’s a staple if you grew up in the Roanoke valley. Funny enough I’m not a coffee girl at allll really but I obsess over their espresso shake it’s a perfect creamy coffee concoction! I have my whole clinic turned on to it now and will recommend to anyone I know. Their fun matcha flavors are awesome as well!“

“Let me start by saying I do work fairly close to this location therefore I guess you could consider me a ‘regular’ when I am in office. The staff is always pleasant and when things have been wrong in the past there have been no issues with getting them switched out and or fixed. Additionally, this location offers mini samples of both food and drinks for customers to try — sometimes & no this is not upon request. The team works together effectively to ensure that the job is done when I have been in the store — both packed & as the only customer in there. They have a wide selection of merchandise available for purchase and most of the time things are on sale as well. Although this is not a corporate store and does not always offer the same menu items as others they still have a good variety of options available.
Before bashing the location and or workers
— ask to speak with a manager perhaps they are easy to talk to and as previously stated I have had no issues with my interactions with them.“
