“Expect to pay about $20 per person for a meal and drink, and for it to be some of the best food you've had. Everything is so immaculately seasoned , the chai is made in house, I don't know what soft they give you for your dishes but I would put that stuff on everything if I could. I get the shawarma Armani every time I go, and it always was the spot. Family run business, literally perfect.“
“Hard to not enjoy the atmosphere here. I come to work when I need some chill time and focus, but they can get really busy too. Their specialty coffees are pretty fun. Would love to see them add something a little spicy to their menu. You're likely to find good food trucks nearby too.Dietary restrictions: They offer non-dairy options which is nice“
“Went here as a second choice as first place was full. Wonderful luck. The people were the best. I wish I could remember our servers name as she was super. Anyway, did net get anything fancy just a great burger and a salad. Witness got Brussels sprouts and fries. Cool atmosphere. Really “
“They do such an amazing job supplying and keeping our coffee needs stocked here at Bellacino's. They are always friendly and accommodating. There are hardly ever mistakes made, but when there is a mistake it is easily handled and done so in a polite friendly manner. I highly recommend H & C coffee especially for restaurants. They go above and beyond to make your experience great, and the coffee and tea tastes fantastic.“
“RND stands out as one of Roanoke's premier locations for 1:1 business meetings and general connections. Given the recent closing of our only local tea house, this is the single coffee location I've found that boasts a wide variety of worthwhile teas that soothe the soul. I love their Mint and Chai - the only place I go wherein I needn't add sugar :)Despite its well-earned beast of reputation, I rate it four stars due to the location's size limitations—something beyond its control. It's pretty rare that I visit and find seating, which isn't very fun in wintry times, but the owners have tactfully addressed this concern by opening a larger space in Vinton (the owners deserve their own review: they're going places). While RND caters to a niche crowd influenced by the area's culture & dynamics, it is a source of regional pride. The reasonable prices make it even more commendable. I look forward to their continued growth and the expanding legacy of this remarkable little coffee lounge. Be sure to snag a bag for your kitchen counter. You won't be disappointed.“
“Little Green Hive is a very cozy little coffee shop with really good coffee and food. Their staff are very friendly too.I enjoyed the cinnamon roll and smoothies I've tried. When I'm in the area, they're a location I enjoy spending time at.“
“I’m giving this four stars because I really enjoyed the restaurant, and the coffee was hot. The portion size was huge, but I was overall disappointed in the cinnamon roll. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu items, but I really felt that the cinnamon roll could have used a little bit of salt in the dough.“
“This place is great! They have a couple of gluten-free pastry options, some delicious breakfast and lunch items, and a bunch of fun drink options. Drinks include coffee, lattes and smoothies; check out the menu pics for details.Atmosphere is chill, well lit and has nice natural light coming in the big front windows.Service was exceptional, friendly, helpful and quick. We're in town visiting friends and we'll definitely be back to One Love.Dietary restrictions: Some gluten-free options. Typical milk alternatives.“
“I don't get to go in very often. Always use the drive through. The drive through staff here are fantastic. Super friendly... always up for a quick chat. Always remember my name when they see me in the camera. It's a great break in the day to have people just be nice....and not just because it's a job. They are truly nice people.“
“Had a to-go order for the Kalua pork and the Loco moco and was not disappointed! The flavors were on point and took me back to my trip to kauai. Loved the island music and the plethora of hawaiian made goods. The owners were very charming and were the embodiment of aloha hospitality“
“First, let me say that the pastries are excellent and everyone is incredibly friendly. We had both of the mini quiches (loved) and a London fog croissant that looked not great but tasted amazing. We had some sort of free form breakfast strata which was ok. The coffee was awful. I’m not exaggerating. Watery, no flavor, not quite right. We had both a drip coffee and a cortado, and neither resembled anything like they should have. Basically, come here for the pastries and baked goods, skip everything else.“
“Ordered custom blueberry cheesecake for my mom's birthday. They were so friendly and accommodating; answered every question I had with the best attitude and cheerfulness. The cheesecake was Soo Good OMG! They will be my go-to for cakes!“
“Great service and flavor! With only one employee working, I received the best chai latte of my life in under a minute. There was a huge line and they delivered stellar service, even handling an extremely rude and out-of-pocket customer with grace. In addition, this is a wonderful atmosphere for studying or a chat. I highly recommend this coffee shop.“
“WOW! I liked the other two coffee shops I’ve tried in Roanoke but this is my clear favorite. Unbelievably smooth but still extremely flavorful. Even a plain latte here has more complexity to the flavor profile than a flavored latte at most other coffee shops. Service is also prompt and friendly and I really like that it’s in a food court with a lot of other places you can explore. Highly recommended — check it out!“
“This is our usual stop but today we were taking our dog to be put down. So I went in asking for nothing other than his favorite treat which is a pup cup. The guy that helped me was a the best thing that could have happened. He immediately went to make a large pup cup after I told him what I was dealing with. Our dog had that last best treat. I can’t thank him enough and it meant the world to my wife, my dog, and myself. Can’t thank you enough for the kindness you showed today.“
“Great coffee, of course! The chestnut praline latte is a great holiday drink; I prefer it half sweet. The bathrooms need some maintenance, since the toilet we used no longer flushes automatically, and the bathroom doors were hard to open even though they were not in use.“
“This Starbucks is one of the best ones in Roanoke. The staff is always helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your drink is fantastic. I love the new pumpkin Chai latte it's my go too. When I'm undecided I will ask one of the staff to suggest one of their favorites. It's always and win win. They never try to force you to leave a tip like some of the other ones in the area. I always tip but I want it to be my decision rather I do or not. Not have a rude employee throw the card reader at me to leave one. You guys on Orange Rock!!!!! Keep up the good work.“
“Ask for CAMERON!!!She went ABOVE ⭐️ and BEYOND ? to make my order! She went out of her way to ensure the order was spot on! STARBUCKS has a MANAGER in the making under their belt…THEY BETTER RECOGNIZE HER POTENTIAL OR SOMEONE ELSE WILL!“
“My wife and I just moved into the area recently, and were looking for a place with pool tables and my wife found this place. We passed by it a few times before our first stop and noticed the giant coffee pot attached to the roof of the building which is something we look for in unique places to stop in. One night we decided to visit the Coffee Pot in the late afternoon and found the place mostly quiet and empty. There was a fire going in the old fireplace which was unexpected, but shouldn't have been after I learned about the bar's history. My wife and I enjoy the occasional dive bar, we have for a while. For us, it is a nice change from the other mainstream venues we visit, and the patrons and regulars have always been welcoming and friendly. The Coffee Pot was no exception. As other reviewers have stated, it is still a smoker-friendly bar and in these times it isn't often a crowd pleaser, especially for first-timers. However, we have found it does weed out certain types of patrons who sometimes can't suspend their complaints and enjoy something completely different, historic in this case, and seemingly off the beaten path. We stayed to play pool, the goal of our visit, and then stayed for one of the band's sets. We also ordered sandwiches/hot-subs as well which didn't take long to get and the food was fresh and hot considering the Wednesday night crowd there had kept the kitchen busy and they were also short staffed. Their Wednesday night house band has been a mashup of different bluegrass players (musicians) over the last 25 years. One component of the band, and the bar, they are deeply proud of - we get it and we respect that. Plus other mainstream players, Richey Valenz, Dickey Betts, to name a few have graced their stage at some point in time. We'll be going back this Wednesday as we were told the house band is giving the stage to a younger bluegrass band to encourage and support younger bands in the area. Again, a nice change from other live music venues in the county for us to sample and enjoy. Like a good Irish friend of mine told me a long time ago... "If you don't have fun, it's your own fault."“
“Our first visit was this past Saturday. We were so impressed. The coffee was so good as was the custard. The service was gracious. We appreciate that they work so well and patently with their employees. We plan to make this place one of our regular go-to's.“
