The atmosphere is cute and charming, but it can get quite busy and you might have a hard time finding a seat, but as long as the weather is nice there are plenty of spaces to sit down along the greenway! The only other thing to consider is the severe lack of parking. There are a few spots next to the building, but they are usually always full, and the business across the street does not take kindly to people parking in their lot.Parking: The parking is very limited and the lot across the street is not keen on letting people park there. Recommendation is to park and walk a little ways if you are able!“
“We highly recommend Rookies for a wedding or private event. Their ice cream cookies were super tasty! It was great that we could choose between multiple flavors for the ice cream and the cookies. Our guests really enjoyed the novelty of having ice creams sandwiches at the wedding rather than just cake. It was definitely a highlight of our wedding.“
“It was my first time visiting. The gentleman that owns the shop was super sweet to my son. My son wasn’t feeling his best and we just came from the pediatrician’s office, and all he wanted was ice cream. The gentleman was doing everything to make him smile. Even gave him these little buckets that had bear and dinosaur crayons. The girls behind the counter were super patient and sweet. They had a shops full of different sweets and other things. “It's a little hole in the wall. Definitely not a bad hole in the wall. Just if you don't know it's there then you will miss it. It sits on the very end of the shopping plaza. I only ate hotdogs and ice cream from there and both times it's been great. Looks a little run down but I find that those types of place always offer the best prices and best tasting foods.Dietary restrictions: I'm not sure if they offer anything else expect for dairy ice cream. Rounding the corner to Memorial Ave, I walked by the front window and locked eyes with Steve, the owner. The thought instantly hit that I needed an Alpine grilled cheese and a lemonade to cap off my day. It was a great meal and getting to see Steve is always a pleasure.
