My son recommended this and we went on a very slow Friday night around 7:30. It was completely dead. The waitress was patient and incredibly accommodating. She suggested a myriad of vegetarian options for my friend. She suggested that cheese birria tacos, which I got.

We ordered the small portions and it was a massive amount of food. I can't imagine how big the large portion was. My dish had three mouth watering tacos stuffed to overflowing with hot cheese and beef. My friend's vegetarian burrito covered her whole plate - chocked full of zucchini, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, cheese and rice. Everything was absolutely scrumptious!

Our waitress kept our drinks full and made sure we were happy without being intrusive. The restaurant is bare bones and a bit worn but clean and very welcoming.

“This is essentially the same restaurant that owner Josue Vazquez operated inside Tienda Latina Emily in Christiansburg before selling that business to Super Amanecer. My beloved pineapple-y Pastor Tacos with caramelized onions and salsa verde are still on the menu, so I have not branched out into the Honduran offerings. The noise from Williamson Road can be very loud at times, but otherwise the outdoor seating is very nice. Grab a drink from La Preferida next door while you wait for your order.“

I was told VERBATIM..."YOU PEOPLE DON'T PAY TIPS"!!!!!!! Let me back up a bit! Janaia Bass, my babygrands and I went to grab a bite between Journey's performances. We were glad the place wasn't crowded. I know this location well as I worked down the street and we came here for lunch as well as ordered takeout quite frequently. I noticed that we were waiting longer than the "OTHER" people around us. We were sitting outside and was the only family of color in the place that I saw. Once we got our food, everything was ok....until we got the check. I was about to pay it when I noticed a "room tax" for 18%....wth??? Were they charging us for sitting outside??? I also noticed a spot for an "additional tip". Janaia went in to ask what the $9 charge was. Now everybody knows gratuity is normally automatically added for parties of 8 or more...we had 4. She came back and said it was his tip. Ok...why and why label it incorrectly as a "ROOM TAX"??? Why was it not called a GRATUITY???? I wanted to know why he added a tip to a party of 4 and by doing so screwed himself out of a larger tip because I normally tip at least 20%....18 at the least! I asked our waiter he said, "you people do not tip. Not you...I felt bad adding it, but normally you people do not tip"! I WENT OFF!!! I let him know that he does not know a thing about me or HOW I TIP and cannot JUDGE ME based on the color of my skin or what some other black person does!!!! I was LIVID! Janaia asked how he felt when he is discriminated against! He had no answer!!! All he could do was look, listen and apologize! I told him my daughter had been a waitress and therefore, I KNOW how hard they work and I always reward good service. TIPS are NOT mandatory! It is at MY discretion whether you get one or not! But to add a tip based on the color of one's skin....well that is ILLEGAL!!! At this point other waiters had gathered and I made sure they knew what had happened and just how Wrong THEY WERE!! A young black couple walked in while all this was going on and once I told them what had happened, that young brother wanted to put our waiter through the floor!!! I told him it wasn't worth it and that I was ok and handling it!!! His gf got him out...but he came back again...he was LIVID! WE ARE ALL TIRED OF THIS BS!!!!!!! I gave them a serious tongue lashing!! I got my $10 back and Carlos B DID NOT GET A TIP!!! He screwed himself!!! Check your receipts people!!!! This is the first time this has happened to me as I always check my receipts. Still can't believe it though.😡😡😡😡 #NOjusticeJUSTus #discriminationSUCKS“

“I know these guys are a little beat up on the reviews.....but ai've really never had an issue here. Is it a chain....yes. Do they have decent food...also yes. I don't know what is expected of Moe's but they are pretty solid in my opinion. I orderded chicken nachos to go and they delivered just that. You can customize your meal almost endlessly. They have a salsa bar (which is getting to be rare). I was happy with my nachos. Plenty of food....I'll even have some leftovers for tomorrow. Good value and good food. Give em a chance guys.“

“I enjoy eating here and particularly the current avocado crispy chicken ranch burrito, a sure sign that it will not survive it's limited time availability. The store runs well. I like using the kiosks, though there are too many annoyance screens trying to sell something else and other stuff. The buttons to skip through those are in different places so that is extra annoying. That is not the stores fault I am sure. I lunch here often and they are fast and the orders are correct.“
