This is essentially the same restaurant that owner Josue Vazquez operated inside Tienda Latina Emily in Christiansburg before selling that business to Super Amanecer. My beloved pineapple-y Pastor Tacos with caramelized onions and salsa verde are still on the menu, so I have not branched out into the Honduran offerings. Friendly service and utterly delicious food! The pupusas are a favorite. Plentiful seating and the market is fun to explore while waiting for takeout.
The food is excellent! It nice this place has a similar taste to the places back home (NYC). It's also one of the few places around here to get the proper ingredients to make your own Spanish food. The location is very small, parking is limited (especially during lunch), and they added extra shelving to accommodate the additional items they sell.
