Cook Out Reviews
Food was made wrong... lets concentrate better.
My burger was thrown together like it was assembled by the angriest of toddlers. It would've been delicious if the over sauced condiments actually stayed on the inside instead of ending up all over the wrapper. A little pacing to focus on quality would go a long way here. That said, I'll take partial blame for the messy stress of it all. I did walk in right at the peak of the lunch rush.
Pretty standard American fare. Fast service. Bathroom could have used a little attention when I was there.

Cook Out is a fantastic restaurant with great food and milkshakes. With a variety of 40 milkshake flavors, there's always something new to try. The staff is amazing, working well under pressure. The menu offers delicious and affordable options, like the double cheeseburger and walking taco. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, perfect for families with kids. Customers love the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Hot Dogs, Chicken Strips, Fries, Onion Rings, and Hush Puppies.
Recently, a visitor noted the long lines at the drive-thru and the restaurant's late hours, which extend until 4:00 AM. Located in a large brick building near Crossroads in Roanoke, Virginia, Cook Out features large windows and an outdoor seating area. Inside, the restaurant is very clean, and customers can read the menu above the ordering counter. One customer enjoyed a Burger tray with Onion Rings and Slaw, a Peach Cobler Shake, and an extra Cook Out Hot Dog. The order was efficiently taken, and the fresh quality of the food impressed them. The burger was made from fresh ground beef, never frozen, contributing to the restaurant's loyal customer base.
The four onion rings were ample for the price, and the Peach Cobler Shake was very good, though thick enough to require a spoon. Overall, visitors have found Cook Out to be a great place for a tasty and inexpensive meal. After all, everyone loves a good cook out.
