This was our first time trying this chain. We are driving from Charlotte, NC to New Jersey, and found this place in Roanoke, VA. We loved the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Hot Dogs, Spicy Chicken Strips, Fries, Onion Rings (They were not greasy, which was a big thumbs up), Hush Puppies, and Fries. Given a chance, we would love to eat here, or another Cook Out in the future. Great value, great food and good service.Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids, and family friendly seating.

I understand that things happen, and this is not me being a Karen - just an honest review. My boyfriend and I went by there the other evening it was about 11 p.m. and as you know they're open till about 4:00 a.m. they were out of BLTs they were out of hot dogs they were out of chicken nuggets and here's the kicker, they couldn't make any milkshakes - no ice cream. Geez, I already feel bad leaving this review, because normally they are super on point, I still love you cookout!!

I go here on lunch 2 times a week, I work nights, and they are always packed. Go inside because the drive thru is lined up all the time! Barbecue cookout tray is where it's at, Cajun fries and a chicken quesadilla for the sides, with a Cheerwine. AMAZING every time, and I never get tired of it, unlike my girlfriend and her friends! It's always fresh, and they have never gotten my order wrong. Keep up the good work guys, I know I couldn't do it!
