“I decided to stop by New Year's eve to get something in my stomach before drinking. They were full but I was offered a seat outside and took it. The food is all great here. Tonight they had a man carding at the front door. A customer came up already with a bad attitude. He didn't want to be carded and was insulted for he had been coming here for years. The gentleman minding the door whose name was Chris handled it very calmly with no attitude even though the guy calmed he didn't like Chris's attitude. the customer was clear trying to start something but only received politeness. I saw that same guy trying to start it up with another gentleman watching the door. Great job to Chris. He was also nice enough to stop and chat with me and do his job. I was the only one sitting outside it was nice to be acknowledged. Thanks“

“I’ll start by saying we frequented BitS for many years largely due to convenience and price point. After awhile, we quit going in because of poor quality across the board. We are very pleased with the changes in the food and set up after a recent change in ownership. I prefer the ability to order from my seat vs standing in line. The buns are no longer soggy and fries are perfectly crispy. We received a warm welcome and excellent service this evening from a gentleman (uncertain of his name, but KD was on our receipt) despite a full restaurant. This young man is a valuable asset to the team and we will continue to return. Please give them a try!!“

“Sidewinders is hands down one of my favorite places to go! The atmosphere is absolutely unmatched—it’s fun, welcoming, and has such a great energy every time we visit. Whether you’re there to line dance, hang out with friends, or just enjoy a good night out, it’s always a great time.

The food is also delicious! I got the nachos this time and they were SO good—definitely something I’d recommend. Everything about Sidewinders makes it one of those places you want to keep coming back to. It’s easily one of my favorite spots for a fun night out, and I can’t wait to go back!“

“I'm giving the cookout on Hershberger, 5 stars, in contrast to the new cookout on Franklin. If the cookout on Franklin was the first one that we had in town, I would think Cook-Out was a slow poorly run- run of the mill restaurant with privileged kids running the store. Versus the 1 on Hershberger, which has attentive professional fast people running the store. And of course, the food is good, but service matters more to me than food, especially when it comes to fast food since it's all kinda the same. Whoever runs the Hershberger store should train the Franklin store. Our family won't be back to the franklin store that's for sure, and its much closer to my home and work. But we do like the Hershberger Cook-Out and the other VA and NC Cook-Out locations we have visited 👍“

I waved Moni down because we were waiting so long but once he was our server , everything was absolutely amazing! He was the best server I had ever had at IHOP! “Me and my mother went to the Red Robin located in Roanoke, Virginia. Our waitress named Bambi or however you spell her name. She got my mother's order wrong after she stated what she wanted twice! She hardly checked on if we needed anything else but checked on other around us. Very very late with serving us. She was off talking to some other man that was sitting not too far with us knowing we needed service. She was also seen by me drinking alcohol and sticking it behind the bar. When she walked by and she smelt like straight alcohol, can't tell what specific but it was just terrible service. I normally have amazing service going there but after today I WILL NOT be going back for a while!! PS: she did not get a tip from either me or my mother.“

“My Mom lives here at Friendship Manor. Club Friendship is in the resident's center and is open weekdays. Mom likes being able to walk to the cafe and seems to prefer it over having someone take her off campus to eat out.The staff are very friendly and get to know the clientele by name. I get hugs when I visit. (I've been coming to visit several times a year for 20 years.)The menu is relatively inexpensive and is suitable for nearly everyone.“
