The greens are delicious and are shockingly vegan! They use smoked apple cider vinegar for flavor. For an appetizer, we tried the Akara, black eyed pea fritters. So good! I had a pear and bourbon craft cocktail that was smooth and delish. So good I had two. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is great. It's a small place with nice decor. Great bar! The music is not too loud. Overall, one of the best in Roanoke. I look forward to returning and trying some new items. You cannot go wrong with that chicken!“

“Our usual place was closed so we decided to try a whole new place and it was a good choice! The general tsos isn’t drowning in sauce which made it so much better in my opinion. The vegetable lo mein had a very generous vegetable to noodle ratio and great flavor, and the chicken fried rice was great as well. The place was crowded as can be with people out the door, but we’d called ahead and I was able to get in and out quickly.

Parking: The parking lot is small and can be difficult to get in and out of on a busy night.“

The restaurant is also always clean and presentable, which we appreciate! Jess (the manager) is always so kind and is a pleasure to talk with. She made our family feel super special during lunch today and we really appreciate her kindness. Every time she is there she always has a smile and genuinely nice attitude. “Blown away by my breakfast this morning, had to leave a review before I left the parking lot.
I had the fried catfish biscuit and added an egg on top, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. 😍
The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection, it was so good that I’m afraid to order fish anywhere else in the soon future because it won’t be as good as what I just had here. 🥲
We shared a half order of blueberry Nutella French toast that was soooo good.

Can’t wait to come back next time I’m back in Roanoke.

Highly disappointed that when i called ahead of time to ask if they had a dessert table, was told No. We had a party of 10 for a birthday celebration, so I brought a cake. When it was time to have our cake, i was told it would be a $1.00 a plate charge to have a dessert plate. Extremely turned off about that. Ruined our birthday celebration. Idk? Is this a thing? Never ever have heard of a plate fee.“

Dont sleep on those wings, the honey garlic was out of this world good. Also they are gluten free!! They also have a gluten free crust option for their pizzas. I strongly recommend adding the balsamic glazed onions to your pizza -it added some excellent and elevated flavors. Plus service is top-notch! It's very good and gets busy quickly so be sure to plan in advance.

The wine is delicious and they have indoor and outdoor seating both with amazing views of the mountains and Roanoke.“
