“I decided to stop by New Year's eve to get something in my stomach before drinking. They were full but I was offered a seat outside and took it. The food is all great here. Tonight they had a man carding at the front door. A customer came up already with a bad attitude. He didn't want to be carded and was insulted for he had been coming here for years. The gentleman minding the door whose name was Chris handled it very calmly with no attitude even though the guy calmed he didn't like Chris's attitude. the customer was clear trying to start something but only received politeness. I saw that same guy trying to start it up with another gentleman watching the door. Great job to Chris. He was also nice enough to stop and chat with me and do his job. I was the only one sitting outside it was nice to be acknowledged. Thanks“

“Our server Ava was awesome she was attentive sweet have great advice on what to order. The food was beautifully presented ( don’t judge by our pics we had driven 10 hours and were very hungry lol. We had the clams and Barrata appetizers they were fabulous and the sauce from the clams was fantastic ( we took it home). The bread that came with it was soft and yummy.

For dinner we had Mafaldine and the Bucatini. I had the bucatini and the sauce was fresh and a beautiful shade of red, not overcooked with chunks of tomato. The bucatini was cooked to
Perfection and it was hot but not too hot.

The Mafaldine my husband got had big shrimp and it was very savory - had a very pancetta taste. Very good.

“We tried Wok n Roll last week during spring break. I was SO impressed! The staff were all so nice, greeting us, talking about the menu and offering us all the sauces! I got the chicken fried rice which came with an egg roll and it was delicious!! My daughter got the generals and just wow! She said it was the BEST she had ever eaten!! I tried it and agree!! Let’s talk about the portions.. we ate so much and still took home two boxes that looked like whole entrées. I love the atmosphere. It was quiet around 3 PM in the afternoon. We just loved it so much. I don’t know how we had never tried it before, but we definitely will be back and we have told so many people they simply must go eat at Wok n Roll!!! Go!!“

“Thank you for such a great lunch! The service was efficient, helpful, and kind. Our food was better than we expected and the portions are generous. The fried rice is perfect, the Szechuan beef was just the right level of heat, and the orange chicken was exactly what my son was craving. The quality and flavor was so good and it was just under $20 for lunch for 2 people.
The restaurant looks so unassuming from outside, but that’s where they hide the magic. Their lunch specials can’t be beat.“

“During the concert at Dr Pepper Park, it just happened that the weather turned to shit. Everyone crammed into this bar and the bartenders were absolutely amazing, accommodating and welcoming, despite the slot of people trying to get their beverages. She needs that for the next, just to move it out of the wall. In all of this, the bartender/brewist Donovan stepped up, managed the crowd and got everyone served in a timely manner. When we stopped in earlier, she was very accommodating and knowledgeable, and she continued this, despite the massive crowd.“

“I’ve frequented this establishment over the last couple years and I’ll have to say if you wake up hungry for breakfast this place is where you want to go! They offer an all around hearty breakfast experience that will leave you full until dinner! My favorites are the Bologna egg and cheese biscuit, egg and cheese tacos and any combination of grits which are my favorite! Would highly recommend trying this place out!“

I was worried we’d be met with attitude and rightfully so when someone comes in right before closing so I was prepared BUT the hostess was so nice which was a huge relief. Our server, Elder, was attentive, great at his job, and very nice! The food was perfect which is great cause we ate at a Cheddars in Florida a few months ago and it was absolutely horrible - this one was spot on! Cooks in the back knew exactly what they were doing. The whole staff had good vibes and attitudes, they all were hustling and working hard. Seriously this location is fantastic! Thanks for the great experience. Highly disappointed that when i called ahead of time to ask if they had a dessert table, was told No. We had a party of 10 for a birthday celebration, so I brought a cake. When it was time to have our cake, i was told it would be a $1.00 a plate charge to have a dessert plate. Extremely turned off about that. Ruined our birthday celebration. Idk? Is this a thing? Never ever have heard of a plate fee.“

I have been looking for a Chinese to go spot with the actual traditional ribs with the sauce and not the boneless rib tips. I finally found it there, because it seemed unavailable from anywhere in Radford, Christiansburg or Blacksburg , where I'm local to. I just happened to be in Roanoke today cause I'm picking up family from the airport, and was craving it. It was about a 30 min wait for me after I ordered because it was already crowded and had a long line of people waiting for their orders. But once I received it, I felt I got my money worth and more because it was what I remembered in taste, texture, saucey. Not too salty or too sweet and good portions for the portions I ordered. “I’ll start by saying we frequented BitS for many years largely due to convenience and price point. After awhile, we quit going in because of poor quality across the board. We are very pleased with the changes in the food and set up after a recent change in ownership. I prefer the ability to order from my seat vs standing in line. The buns are no longer soggy and fries are perfectly crispy. We received a warm welcome and excellent service this evening from a gentleman (uncertain of his name, but KD was on our receipt) despite a full restaurant. This young man is a valuable asset to the team and we will continue to return. Please give them a try!!“
