“We tried Wok n Roll last week during spring break. I was SO impressed! The staff were all so nice, greeting us, talking about the menu and offering us all the sauces! I got the chicken fried rice which came with an egg roll and it was delicious!! My daughter got the generals and just wow! She said it was the BEST she had ever eaten!! I tried it and agree!! Let’s talk about the portions.. we ate so much and still took home two boxes that looked like whole entrées. I love the atmosphere. It was quiet around 3 PM in the afternoon. We just loved it so much. I don’t know how we had never tried it before, but we definitely will be back and we have told so many people they simply must go eat at Wok n Roll!!! Go!!“

“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. This was the best meal (meals-I ordered several items to go as well) I have had since, well, EVER... It is a week later and their food still tastes amazing. There was a small error made by myself and a server helping out while I was there. It was quick, and without any negative discussion, corrected. The staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, and food were all wonderful. Thank you everyone, it was an experience I will never forget.“

“I decided to stop by New Year's eve to get something in my stomach before drinking. They were full but I was offered a seat outside and took it. The food is all great here. Tonight they had a man carding at the front door. A customer came up already with a bad attitude. He didn't want to be carded and was insulted for he had been coming here for years. The gentleman minding the door whose name was Chris handled it very calmly with no attitude even though the guy calmed he didn't like Chris's attitude. the customer was clear trying to start something but only received politeness. I saw that same guy trying to start it up with another gentleman watching the door. Great job to Chris. He was also nice enough to stop and chat with me and do his job. I was the only one sitting outside it was nice to be acknowledged. Thanks“

The fried rice is perfect, the Szechuan beef was just the right level of heat, and the orange chicken was exactly what my son was craving. The quality and flavor was so good and it was just under $20 for lunch for 2 people.
The restaurant looks so unassuming from outside, but that’s where they hide the magic. Their lunch specials can’t be beat.“

“I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs. The biscuits are homemade and delicious, and the same goes for the gravy. My partner ordered the fried chicken biscuit sandwich with grits—definitely the best grits I have ever had. However, my food was a little cold. “During the concert at Dr Pepper Park, it just happened that the weather turned to shit. Everyone crammed into this bar and the bartenders were absolutely amazing, accommodating and welcoming, despite the slot of people trying to get their beverages. She needs that for the next, just to move it out of the wall. In all of this, the bartender/brewist Donovan stepped up, managed the crowd and got everyone served in a timely manner. When we stopped in earlier, she was very accommodating and knowledgeable, and she continued this, despite the massive crowd.“

I have been looking for a Chinese to go spot with the actual traditional ribs with the sauce and not the boneless rib tips. I finally found it there, because it seemed unavailable from anywhere in Radford, Christiansburg or Blacksburg , where I'm local to. I just happened to be in Roanoke today cause I'm picking up family from the airport, and was craving it. It was about a 30 min wait for me after I ordered because it was already crowded and had a long line of people waiting for their orders. But once I received it, I felt I got my money worth and more because it was what I remembered in taste, texture, saucey. Not too salty or too sweet and good portions for the portions I ordered. “I’ll start by saying we frequented BitS for many years largely due to convenience and price point. After awhile, we quit going in because of poor quality across the board. We are very pleased with the changes in the food and set up after a recent change in ownership. I prefer the ability to order from my seat vs standing in line. The buns are no longer soggy and fries are perfectly crispy. We received a warm welcome and excellent service this evening from a gentleman (uncertain of his name, but KD was on our receipt) despite a full restaurant. This young man is a valuable asset to the team and we will continue to return. Please give them a try!!“

“went for my son bday because he loves that they throw the shrimp and was his requests. they were busy which is understandable for a Saturday..half of our party never got asked about salads ..we had to remind the waitress about our drinks more than once and to top it off the wiring for the lights infer the table had been spliced and my little boy was shocked from it...once making them aware I got the excuse they were busy!! this was the wires that he was shocked from.. very disappointment“

“This restaurant is one of the best in Roanoke in my opinion, both for the food quality as well as the prices.

The only existing downloaded to this place I can think of is that it makes everything around it look bad with how well it compares to the surrounding area from the inside once you sit down.
This area of the city of Roanoke in general is certainly not the safest you'll ever find, but this restaurant is easily one of my favorites.

Folks looking for a very welcoming place to enjoy a quiet, top-notch meal with loved ones for a very good price should 100% keep this place at the top of their list.“
