“Excellent meal! I had a club sandwich and my husband had a wrap. They were both generous portions and they were delicious. We were so full, but we definitely wanted to try their desserts, so we each got a brownie to go. Kathy was an excellent server!“
“Food was tasty, but the killer deal is to be able to get a to-go entree for $10...Here's the thing. Our group of nine were the last in the restaurant because their bathroom broke shortly after we got seated.After spending hundreds of dollars, one mom wanted to get her fiancee an entree. I had picked up her meal because it was her birthday, but because she only had her three kids' meals on her ticket, they said it had to cost no more than what was on HER ticket.Unfortunately I found out after the fact that she caved to their policy and didn't want to make a fuss... But come on!I would have added the ten bucks to my ticket, get the guy a steak, or whatever!This was a situation of not seeing the forest for the trees, and also realizing they were the only business they had because their plumbing was messed up.They could have at least made that small concession to have given her a decent take out entree for her fiance, especially considering that none of the ladies were able to use the toilet.“
“First, let me say that I don't pay much attention to atmosphere, but you're going here for the food! The Tacu Tacu con Mariscos was very good, nice seasoned, with ample sauce (we like sauce!). The Jalea de Mariscos was perfectly deep-fried, with a good assortment and a tasty tartar sauce. Their Lomo Saltado was spot-on. Flan was good, as was the alfajor. Inka was a very enjoyable experience. It was our first visit, and the food was delicious. We will return.“
“Loved this place! Great food. Unique restaurant in downtown Roanoke. It wasn’t very busy… we were the only ones here, which didn’t make a ton of sense because it was so delicious and a great experience. I hope to see more people in here next time! We will definitely be back.“
“DO NOT MISS OUT. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, perfect for date night or to treat yourself to a good meal. The escargot was the best we've EVER had. Calamari so perfectly crispy and tender. The filet mignon was so tender and just melts in your mouth. The prime rib perfectly cooked. I wish I had room for desert.. Suzie was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed during our visit. 10000/10 We'll definitely be back“
“My favorite place to eat in Roanoke because they have a model train running around the interior. Kids of all ages will like. Salad bar is good, maybe could use a few more selections, I don't know. It just doesn't seem like it has a lot. Nacho/Taco bar, salad, and other prepared salads with a dessert bar. I can't put my finger on what's missing so I'm not going to downgrade a star.All kinds of cool train decor on a restaurant centered around a restored locomotive that sometimes calls Roanoke home.Parking: Lots of parking on siteKid-friendliness: Trains, trains, trains! “Absolute RAVE!! Our waitress was amazing, the owner is so sweet. The food and drinks are out of this world. “This place is awesome! Our server was so sweet and friendly ! I got the ritz cocktail and it was light and tasty , calamari was delicious as always with the light batter and awesome sauce with it ! I always get my favorite lamb shank , it was incredible, Fall off the bone lamb and so delightful! And then for the dessert the crème brûlée ! The atmosphere is romantic and upscale ! “Great spot in a convenient location! Of course the tacos were wonderful, but the crab dip was also out of this world. My husband and I got a variety of tacos & they were all delicious. The fried plantains were perfectly cooked and I loved the spicy rice & beans. We look forward to returning.“
