“My husband and I went there with our one year old daughter today. Our waiter was an absolute sweetheart (I forget her name 😭😭) she brought my daughter out dough from the back to play with! It was such a sweet gesture. I’ve been a regular there for years. I love the food and the staff. Highly recommend the Soriano Italian Sub, calzones, pesto pastas, and the Greek salad! Yum!“

“Honestly didn’t plan on ending up here, but there wasn’t much open at 10 PM on a Sunday evening. I know a lot of people come here for late night drunk food, but I decided to give it a try with my family.

First of all, we’re Chinese, so we ordered off of the Chinese menu instead of the English one, which has much more authentic dishes. The food was very good! My only issue was the ambiance- there were a ton of bugs in the restaurant because of the lights just outside the restaurant on the ceiling of the strip mall. The plaza is also quite sus at night.

Service was also great, but I feel being and speaking Chinese helped.“

“We typically stop here when we pass through town. This time, the food was absolutely the best we've had there. There was a new (to us) cashier that was on the ball. I'm not sure if there were new staff in the back, but everyone was on their A game. Usually the food is decent (which is why we keep going back), but today was exceptional. Aleta helped us with everything for a fabulous Saturday nite Graduation dinner and then when we found out our lodging was cancelled at another discredited business - Aleta jumped into action and secured rooms for my family of 20 to have places to sleep. Mountain Lake Lodge not only saved the day but made it Magical. Any Virginia Tech families should seriously consider Mountain lake lodge as their first choice for family time.“
