I'd never been to Blacksburg Wine Lab while I was a student at Tech, so it was super fun to come back for a visit and try it out! I like how it's a bit tucked away from the rest of the restaraunts, however parking is a challenge. The vibe inside is pleasant and our server was nice and funny. Wine & cheese flight - Was awesome! I've heard so many great things about The Wine Lab for many years now, but have never come until tonight! Came here with my mom on a Friday night with no reservation. It wasn't too busy, but you can make reservations via their website. The ambiance is really nice and not too upscale. It is comfortable and provides for a nice dining experience. The place has a really cool aesthetic, but the service on my visit was awful (on a Monday). I ordered the chocolate and wine flight, and after 30 minutes I was brought the cheese and wine flight.I came back later, and the service was much better. The brie wheel and the dip platter were both delicious.
