I wanted to take a moment to send Rave Reviews for our stay and catering event at Mountain Lake Lodge. Aleta helped us with everything for a fabulous Saturday nite Graduation dinner and then when we found out our lodging was cancelled at another discredited business - Aleta jumped into action and secured rooms for my family of 20 to have places to sleep. I brought several guests up from Roanoke and had told him what a wonderful place it was for Sunday brunch. Then come to find out you no longer do a Sunday branch, the bar was actually not even open and it took forever to be served glasses of wine. Their selections from the menu were not anything great, and you were out of the Caesar salad and could not serve a meatloaf sandwich. Buffett style for our dirty dancing weekend. I'm a vegetarian so wasn't exactly suitable for me but still had lots of options. Very tasty and sweet service on a beautiful property The only odd thing is that they require reservations when it's buffet style all inclusive with open tables. Maybe to keep people out who are not part of the event.
