“The food was fantastic! We had the brisket sandwiches, baked beans, cole slaw, shoestring French fries and homemade BBQ chips. All their delicious sauces were made in house. My favorite was the spicy bourbon barbecue. Our server was so kind and attentive! When we are in the area, we will definitely be stopping back by here!”

Aleta helped us with everything for a fabulous Saturday nite Graduation dinner and then when we found out our lodging was cancelled at another discredited business - Aleta jumped into action and secured rooms for my family of 20 to have places to sleep. Mountain Lake Lodge not only saved the day but made it Magical. Any Virginia Tech families should seriously consider Mountain lake lodge as their first choice for family time.”

“A cute little diner tucked to the side of Tangent Outfitters, which is a convenient store/outfitter/gas station. It's a very popular breakfast place w locals and an idea location for nourishment following a hike at nearby Cascade Falls (2 mi up the road). Big menu to choose from. Specials each day like the roast beef open face sandwich w gravy. We ordered a Greek Feta wrap and a tuna melt. Mine was homemade tuna salad w cheddar cheese heated on a croissant. Sooo good!! The Greek Feta wrap was on a spinach wrap w cucumbers, olives, spinach, roasted red peppers, feta, and ranch dressing. Both orders came with a bag of chips & a pickle spear. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere.”

“We went here for an early dinner and this place did NOT disappoint! We ordered white queso with chorizo for the table and it was the best cheese dip we've ever had! My husband ordered the Big Daddy burrito and it was amazing! Loved that it had steak, chicken and shrimp. When we are back in the area, we will be stopping back here for sure!”

“I ❤️ Sugar & Flour so much and it's one of my favorite places to eat and grab something to drink in the area. The meals and bakery items are always delicious and everyone working there is so friendly and amazing! There are new specialty menu items on a regular basis so stopping in once a week you can find something that you haven't tried before and I can say I've never had anything I didn't fully enjoy. The coffees and teas are always on point with many seasonal selections available. If you're looking for something that's warm and welcoming then let this be your stop for great food and people. “We had a appointment nearby and wanted a quick bite before heading home. I am a “pizza snob” and prefer thick crust pizza, but this thinner crust was delicious. My wife had a Margarita pizza and loved it. I had the interesting steak and chimichuri pizza and it was delicious. Our server was very obliging and friendly. We would return here!”

“I like the buffet in Princeton, but my wife is tired of it, so we took the 30-minute drive to Pearisburg for the first time. We arrived at 2:45, the absolute worst time to go to any buffet. I would have given this buffet 4 stars for the food and service if it was 6 PM, but they get the 5th star for pulling it off at 2:45. Small town, low traffic. They compensate by having a smaller selection and by cooking in small batches. The food is in the smaller half pans and the quantity is about 2 large to go size orders in the middle of the otherwise clean pan. By doing it this way, everything was fresh at 2:45. Baked Surimi (Imitation Crab) was the only seafood dish. I usually eat only seafood at Chinese buffets, but I was still happy with the small selection of one beef dish and maybe 12 chicken dishes. It was all very good. Nothing was dry, nothing was bland. I never have the soup or salad, but it was there and looked okay. It was worth the money and worth the trip. Did I mention it was 2:45?”

“I had been hiking the A/T and arrived at the trail head just before sun set, exhausted and hungry i set up my tent and decided to see if anyone would deliver pizza. Much to my delight Pizza Plus would and did deliver. The food was delicious and arrived in a timely manner with a friendly demeanor.”
