“Found this gem a while back. Went back today and the more I explore the menu the more good surprises I find. Tacos Pastor, spot on. Guacamole was fresh and not powdered like most other places. Salsa has cumin in it that makes it a step above other places. Queso was excellent and house made hot salsa was nice with the meal. Should have took pictures as presentation looked like it was in a much higher end place. Pride and effort in what they serve shows in the whole operation. We will be back so save us some of that good hot salsa.”

“As a Radford University graduate years ago, I have kept my roots here in Radford. The small town feel and warm-welcoming people are what have kept me here. I can honestly say that I have made so many friends at Sharkey’s and myself and my friends always arrange to meet here around the holidays and special occasions. Coming here, I have gotten to know the staff and they have made me feel like more than just a guest. I highly recommend if you come through our small town, you must stop in at Sharkey’s Radford and meet my friends! Hope to see you there!”

“Went and ate earlier, I knew it’d be busy on a Saturday but I guess something happened that put them behind and my one slice of pizza had taken an hour to make. I’m a type 1 diabetic and my sugar had crashed when I got there. The guy that came into help (Mike) was super kind even tho I was getting hangry and impatient and low even tho I was drinking soda. (I’m sorry.) when he called my name he apologized and had even came back when I finished and asked if my sugar was okay. Just wanted to say thank you Mike. I appreciate that a lot. Being a type 1 diabetic is really hard and just having a stranger care about that meant a lot. And to the newbies…you’re doing the best you can, don’t be hard on yourselves!”

“I just stopped in about 20 minutes ago because I was craving something sweet. I bought a brownie and a chocolate overload cupcake. I’m saving my brownie for later, but I have already inhaled the cupcake. It was DELICIOUS. The cake was moist, the icing was perfect, and the small brownie bite on top gave a nice texture. I will absolutely be coming back, I can’t believe I didn’t come here sooner!”
