“Found this gem a while back. Went back today and the more I explore the menu the more good surprises I find. Tacos Pastor, spot on. Guacamole was fresh and not powdered like most other places. Salsa has cumin in it that makes it a step above other places. Queso was excellent and house made hot salsa was nice with the meal. Should have took pictures as presentation looked like it was in a much higher end place. Pride and effort in what they serve shows in the whole operation. We will be back so save us some of that good hot salsa.”

“Stopped by randomly on a road trip, not even in the area. Saw the restaurant was a late night recommendation and swung by to see how it would go. Literally one of the best decisions ever made. The food is AMAZING and the drinks are top notch. I cannot express how phenomenal the quality of service is. Joe is not just a great host but a wonderful human. I had the cheezy western burger and a side of onion rings — and I don’t think I’ve ever had better of either in my life! The burger was delicious! The egg was both incredibly flavorful and the PERFECT texture. Please, even if you’re not in the area — detour here. It’s worth every moment. Be patient, it’s home cooked, so it takes time. But you’ll appreciate it! And the pricing? I’ve never had a more affordable night! 2 drinks, a burger, side of onion rings and an omelet (late at night by the way) all for under $40!!”

“As a Radford University graduate years ago, I have kept my roots here in Radford. The small town feel and warm-welcoming people are what have kept me here. I can honestly say that I have made so many friends at Sharkey’s and myself and my friends always arrange to meet here around the holidays and special occasions. Coming here, I have gotten to know the staff and they have made me feel like more than just a guest. I highly recommend if you come through our small town, you must stop in at Sharkey’s Radford and meet my friends! Hope to see you there!”

“It's iconic Benny's pizza, home of the Virginia slice. Huge thin pizza, tasty and exactly what you'd expect from such pizza. Definitely worth getting from time to time.. one pizza can feed 8 people.. or snag a slice. I love Benny's and this location is a good example.”

“Okay! This is a MUST visit. This baker is skilled. As a matter of fact, she is like a high-end baker. Her creations are other worldly. It's the cupcakes people flock to get for. Moist and full of flavor! No choice is wrong!
Ever so often she will create the hyped up, viral Fruit pastries. I believe the shells are white chocolate and filled with flavors that mimic what you'd imagine for that particular fruit. i.e. Banana is filled with a creamy, banana pudding with a line of cookie in the middle.

Only negative but with understanding is the price. Cupcakes are around $5/piece. Viral Fruit is just under $10/piece with the Dubai chocolate one costing $15!
The inside is super cute. Perfect for friends or a little date for the University students.

If you are going for viral Fruit there is a line outside waiting to enter. Most line up about an hour earlier than opening. I think that if you get there 30 mins prior you are safe from a sell out. Still, prepare because don't blame me if you don't get one of them. Rule is only one of each type of Fruit per person with a max of 5.

My suggestion? TRES LES!!!!”
