Found this gem a while back. Went back today and the more I explore the menu the more good surprises I find. Tacos Pastor, spot on. Guacamole was fresh and not powdered like most other places. Salsa has cumin in it that makes it a step above other places. Queso was excellent and house made hot salsa was nice with the meal. We moved here 2yrs ago from California... honestly the land of excellent Mexican restaurants. Therefore, our standards are high food & service because we've both been in the food service business in our past. La Cabana is firing on all cylinders!!! Including being an EXCELLENT value. Everytime we have dined here, it has always been consistent. Since most restaurants are going down hill fast, it's good to see some folks still take pride in the food they serve to the general public. Nevertheless, it's always wise to refer to posted reviews before dinning out. And if the restrooms are filthy, the restaurant is filthy.
