“Ordered the superb Chicago Beef sandwich because it sounded different and unique for this area... Delicious! Layers of roast beef in a crispy roll with melted cheese and other tasty toppings. The included au jus dipping sauce takes it to the next level. I'm not in Radford often, but I'm coming back for pizza and more. The staff welcomed us and everyone was super-friendly and helpful. Forget fast food when there's amazing local fare like Amando's.“
“Very good lunch specials and food at Sal's. The 2 big slices of pizza with my choice of two toppings was very filling. My partner got a calzone which is enough for two. While on a strip mall, the interior looks very Italian and more than expected. Service was very good too.“
“I went to the DP Dough in Blacksburg for many years, but more recently have been on Radford. I tried the Radford location long ago, and it was horrible, due to the people working the location (it was sketch, i will leave it at that). However, the owner fired all those folks and has a brand new set of employees now, and they are awesome. I have been multiple times with multiple different folks working, and both the food and service has been excellent. In particular, Charles has been very considerate preparing "cheesy bacon tots" for someone I know with a severe gluten allergy -- one of the few places we can go in this area!If you haven't given this location a try for a while due to a poor experience many months ago, definitely give it another try!Dietary restrictions: Cheesy bacon tots can be made for those with gluten allergy.
