“IMHO Bollo’s has the best coffee in town. Always balanced, strong, and not bitter. Ranae Gillie has been at this a long time from Gillie’s to Bollo’s and knows just what she’s doing when it comes to homemade baked goods and serious coffee.“

“We had the Cabo Food Truck at our house today for a family event. I can’t rave enough about how fabulous the food and service was. I guarantee that if/when a situation arises that I would not hesitate to invite them back. My guests were thrilled and it allowed me to be a part of the party without worrying about food. If you’re looking for an alternative to traditional catering, this is what you want.“

“I have severe gluten sensitivity. There were several options. I had the BLT on gluten free bread with chips. It was very good. Our waiter was excellent. Definitely give them a try.“

“Posting 5 stars bc I think it would deserve 5 stars if they would advertise the music better! If the manager isn't going to promote to social media or make/post more flyers for upcoming shows then they should hire someone who will or let people in for free that will sell tickets for them. Every good venue needs a promo team. Js.“

“This place gets REALLY busy very quickly, so get there when it opens. Food is good and so is the atmosphere. They do need another server, to the make the place more efficient. Try the meatball sub, calzone and pizza. You won’t regret it. Definitely recommend.“

“I frequent tropical smoothie often, I usually get the chicken pesto sandwich and the sunset smoothie. Both are delicious. The health nut smoothie is a favorite of mine too but the last two times I've gotten it, it wasn't good :( not thick at all like it normally is and I think they didn't add a few things. Today myself and others had to wait awhile to get our order but I believe theyre short staffed at this time so I'd recommend not going at prime times.“

“They got rid of the sandwiches I liked and put spicy crap in there. Do they not realize that not everyone likes spicy food? Even the Italian had spicy peppers on it. There was some cross contamination because the tuna had a couple pieces of pepper as well. The rest of the tuna was okay. They don't give you enough to justify 12 dollars. I will stick to Subway or Jersey Mike's for sandwiches. The Mac n Cheese is probably the best non bread item on the menu.“

“The fried chicken was so Good and so wad the Pimento mac and cheese however the apple pie and ice cream dessert was one of the best apple pies I ever had!! The atmosphere, the staff and the owner were top notch. It is hard to find a place anymore in America that still cares about what they offer to their customers. The Blacksburg Tavern does it all right! Thank you!!! *****“
