Nice spot! Friendly staff, tasty food. We were looking for somewhere a bit different than usual road-trip chain restaurant food, and this hit the spot. Would come here again if I end up visiting this area again. :)
Like a lot of old time Blacksburg, there isn't a lot of service and your date won't believe you're eating here but it is a gem. The flavors are the richest, most interesting spices you'll find in the New River Valley and almost all the food is stellar -- if sometimes dry before tahini and balsamic vinaigrette. The kebab platter is my favorite but there is also a kebab sandwich and many other choices. I don't love the Egyptian potatoes but otherwise you're safe being adventurous....read full review

I came here fairly regularly for about 4 years and their food was always excellent. When I graduated school, I brought my Palestinian grandpa and the guy who was serving us gladly spoke arabic with him and even gave us a free appetizer and coffee to my grandfather. Their restaurant includes food from their culture in the form of a shop that you can buy as well and according to my grandpa "they have everything here". Thank you for the excellent service through the years
