Definitely recommend. Owner and host Dan was very friendly, fried chicken plate lives up to the strong reviews, and biscuits were amazing as well. All sides were well worth it. Pleasant atmosphere with bluegrass tunes. Would come back for sure next time I’m in Blacksburg or the area.

Stopped to eat here on our way to Tennessee. Tavern was very quaint, our server, Kaya who was so pleasant and was very attentive. Food was amazing!! Delicious southern fried chicken and mashed potatoes were outstanding!! Prices were not bad either. The owner, Dan came and introduced himself to us and to check how our dinner was. All and all was a great place to eat!!
