What a fantastic experience! Felt like I was transported to old Appalachia in this beautiful restaurant with rich history, art, and music. It was great to be greeted by the owner. The food was delicious! Can’t wait to return!
We were greeted by the owner who quickly seated us in a lovely room. The server was prompt, polite, and attentive. Our entrees were served hot and the portions were generous. We thoroughly enjoyed the meatloaf and vegetable entrees. Delicious Southern comfort food!
Greeted at the door by the owner we sat at the bar for our wait time. A very busy graduation day, the Tavern was packed, the staff was slammed and yet everyone was friendly and accommodating. The wait was actually shorter than expected and the food was so very tasty. Sadly we did not leave room for dessert but the Brisket Sandwich, the Fried Chicken Plate, and the Chicken and Brisket Salad were all excellent. The atmosphere was lovely. We had an all around great dining experience....
