Preston’s is by far the nicest fine dining dinner experience in Blacksburg. In addition, the breakfast and lunch buffet is second to none.
Great lunch. Tender prime rib. Everything was wonderful. I heard the bread pudding was wow but being from England was not impressed. Has a crème anglaise to go with it that was cold and honestly rather plain. The crust should be crunch and it was soft. Think if needed some bourbon for flavour for the sauce!

The food was good - the oatmeal butterscotch cookie is a must! But we were there for 1 hour and 45 minutes - service was slow!! We waited for 20 minutes to be seated because no one came by - although they walked by multiple times. Our waitress had 3 tables only, and it took so long to check on us, bring us more utensils, bring our check, come back with my credit card, etc. Only 6 tables were occupied total in the restaurant, and almost 2 hours after arriving, we finally left.
