The food was good - the oatmeal butterscotch cookie is a must! But we were there for 1 hour and 45 minutes - service was slow!! We waited for 20 minutes to be seated because no one came by - although they walked by multiple times. Our waitress had 3 tables only, and it took so long to check on us, bring us more utensils, bring our check, come back with my credit card, etc. Only 6 tables were occupied total in the restaurant, and almost 2 hours after arriving, we finally left.
I made reservations for my parents to celebrate their birthdays (80 and 81) and we showed up to a table with balloons on it, which I thought was very thoughtful. We had a great dinner and the staff was wonderfu.
My husband and I have been quests at Preston several times. We attend on Saturday with friends who have near been there before. The food was excellent as usual. and we all enjoyed our meals. My husband and I both had the pork chop with acorn squash, The serving of the squash was disappointing, only one rib equated to about 2 bites. My friend had the bone in Ribeye, it was delicious and cooked perfectly, she would have preferred to have the fingerling potatoes instead of FFs the...
