What a great place. This is some of the best sushi and sashimi that I have ever had. The rice was moist and flavored just right and the fish was tender and tasty. Boys loved the gyoza. Highly recommend this place.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to our children. Very friendly.
One of my favorite lunch spots in downtown Roanoke. Consistently good food and reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Cozy and comfortable spot to tuck in for a nice meal. We like their bento boxes and miso soup. I often order their agedashi dofu, which is delicate and pillowy on the inside with a light crisp on the outside, with a delicious sauce. Their house salad with ginger dressing is yummy too.

This is the best sushi we've found in the area so far. The fish was fresh. They soak their pickled ginger in grenadine according to our server. I found it too sweet. Same for their teriyaki. Too sweet and not cooked into the meat. However the dressing on their salad was exceptional. Also found the miso soup to be better than most places.
