A top-notch sushi/Japanese restaurant right in the heart of downtown roanoke. Great service too, and you can find out exactly what is in each dish in case you have food restrictions.
The food was good, we ordered some rolls and chicken, but we felt a bit rushed to leave. their hours for that day were listed to close at 9:30 PM. We were the only folks eating around 8:30PM, when the staff started clearly closing down and even as far as starting to vacuum as we finished our meals.
Service is good. The gyoza are huge and deep fried. Like eating a meatball. I really wish they would do a deep clean of the walls and floors. There’s a general dinginess about the place that cheapens it. The spring roll was delicious. The miso soup is a little salty.
