“Our usual place was closed so we decided to try a whole new place and it was a good choice! The general tsos isn’t drowning in sauce which made it so much better in my opinion. The vegetable lo mein had a very generous vegetable to noodle ratio and great flavor, and the chicken fried rice was great as well. The place was crowded as can be with people out the door, but we’d called ahead and I was able to get in and out quickly.

Parking: The parking lot is small and can be difficult to get in and out of on a busy night.“

“My husband and I eat here at least once per week for several years and are never disappointed. Consistently the best Chinese anywhere. The hostesses, servers/wait staff, and just everyone are polite, friendly, efficient.“

“Hadn't had China Lite in years, but had a craving for Chinese food on my lunch break so I ordered it and everything was so fresh and delicious. China Lite is one of the only places that doesn’t put egg in their fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was fresh and delicious.“

You just need to wait a little longer, because everything is prepared from good ingredients and no semi-finished products.“

I got the chicken and steak hibachi. The amount was more than I could eat in one sitting. It was less than 20.00 for my meal and a drink. That meal turned into 2, so it was well worth the money. You don't have a waitress that comes to your table. As soon as you walk in you go to the counter and order your food. The menu is by the register. One you order your food you can eat it there or take it home. All meals come in a to go box. You fix your own drinks, the fountain drinks are right beside the register as well. It took about 10 minutes total from the time I walked in to get my food. I definitely enjoyed this establishment and will be back again. I recommend you going if you are in Ronake and want a good, affordable amount of food for your money.“

“Good food if you go during the day for lunch. Don't go for dinner. They sell out of food early and won't put anymore out even when they are still open. Good lunch spot. Don't count on going for dinner and them actually having food to sell. Don't waste your time going for dinner. Drove out of my way bc my son loves this place. Got there at 5 and half the food was out, i asked if they could make some of the items that was empty they said no. They looked closed and I felt like I was bothering them. Lunch ok, dinner no.“

“I got the half chicken. The order came with two sides and tortillas for a very reasonable price. It's enough food for two if you want to stretch it, or if you're feeling like a slob you can house it by yourself. They even brought it out to me in my truck!“

“Why is it saying temporarily closed,? This was my favorite place to eat, what's going on, it's the only place that has the best shrimp egg rolls, hell best everything, every time I get food just for me I eat it for 3 days from how much I get in the med size portions, love it rewarmed on micro makes it taste even better, please reopen soon need some good Chinese food everyone else can't cook like you guys.“

“Out of all the Chinese food places in Roanoke that I have eaten (and I have eaten at just about every one of them) this place is the tastiest. You can tell they cooking with soul and love in here, because their food is fresh, and its not bland. Other places seem to have lost their razzmatazz or something because this place is cooking strong with the seasoning. Loving it!“

“Ate there a few weeks ago, not the first time. Love the price and such a large selection. Ate at Red Palace yesterday, they only had four islands, one was salad and dessert. Not much to select, most meat was chicken. Price was higher with less of a choice. No ice cream. Habachi is the best for me. Living on disability I love being able to afford their food and service for less than McDonald's.“

“Golden Wok has really great food. I've ordered here through Grubhub and Doordash quite often in the past year and it's always a good experience. The food always arrives quickly and it's always fresh and tastes good. Plus you can't beat the price.“

“Food was good. Standard, hot, good selection, but what really made the experience was our server. She was phenomenal. Very attentive, gave my little boy extra fortune cookies when he dropped his, and not only gave him special kid-friendly chopsticks to eat with, but also gave him a set to take home. As we walked out, the server, the bartender, and a kitchen member all smiled and said goodbye. Highly recommend.“

“we absolutely love Taste of Asia. we eat there often. any time someone comes into town and doesn't know what they want, we go here. Evelyn is so amazing and really works hard to make the place what it is. She will happily go work in the kitchen or clean tables and that is the kind of owner every business needs. some times are slower than others but the food never disappoints. the Evelyn roll is absolutely amazing and I obsess over the Drunken Noodles.“
