New China City has been a favorite for Chinese food for years, with customers loving the veggie egg rolls, crab ragoons, orange chicken, general tsos combo plate, pad thai, hibachi, and chicken wings. The chicken fried rice is a standout dish. The food is often fresh, hot, and tastes so good, with the best duck sauce and amazing fortune cookies. Prices are good given the portion and speed, with most dishes around $10 or a bit more, and takeout ready within 15 minutes. However, recent changes have caused mixed experiences: the restaurant was bought out by another Chinese restaurant with new employees, and one visit saw all the food being different and disappointing, leading to a decision not to return. Service is generally good, with nice people.
