This is essentially the same restaurant that owner Josue Vazquez operated inside Tienda Latina Emily in Christiansburg before selling that business to Super Amanecer. My beloved pineapple-y Pastor Tacos with caramelized onions and salsa verde are still on the menu, so I have not branched out into the Honduran offerings. The noise from Williamson Road can be very loud at times, but otherwise the outdoor seating is very nice. Grab a drink from La Preferida next door while you wait...
The food is excellent! It nice this place has a similar taste to the places back home (NYC). It's also one of the few places around here to get the proper ingredients to make your own Spanish food. The location is very small, parking is limited (especially during lunch), and they added extra shelving to accommodate the additional items they sell. It is difficult to navigate through the store section, and seating for dine-in is very limited (and it gets packed!). Other than...
Every time I visit it's a fun experience! My friends and I have tried a lot of items on the menu and enjoyed everything. If you stop by, also grad a popsicle or soda from the store.
