“What a hidden treasure!
My son recommended this and we went on a very slow Friday night around 7:30. It was completely dead. The waitress was patient and incredibly accommodating. She suggested a myriad of vegetarian options for my friend. She suggested that cheese birria tacos, which I got.
We ordered the small portions and it was a massive amount of food. I can't imagine how big the large portion was. My dish had three mouth watering tacos stuffed to overflowing with hot cheese and beef. My friend's vegetarian burrito covered her whole plate - chocked full of zucchini, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, cheese and rice. Everything was absolutely scrumptious!
Our waitress kept our drinks full and made sure we were happy without being intrusive. The restaurant is bare bones and a bit worn but clean and very welcoming.

“We have been here a handful of times and they have yet to disappoint. We get the same thing every time, combo D, du jour seasoning, spicy. If you come on Saturday you can add a half pound of snow crab legs you get half a pound free with combo D. Everything we have tried has been good but if I had to pick something I wouldn't get again it would be the oysters, they weren't bad but not the best I've ever had either. But I still can't complain, we will definitely be back“

I called Chicken Salad Chick to place a catering order and had the absolute best experience. The General Manager, Jaylen, went completely above and beyond for me. Instead of just taking the order, he actually took the time to work through the menu with me to find the absolute cheapest and most cost-effective way to feed my group. I cannot thank him enough for his patience, kindness, and incredible customer service. If you need catering, definitely call and ask for Jaylen. He’s a lifesaver!“

“My daughters and I randomly chose to try Blaze Pizza for the first time because it smelt so good when we were going to get our hair cuts next door. We were not disappointed! From the moment we walked in the door, confused about the process, we were greeted and helped. Issac was amazing from start to finish. He explained the different choices and worked with my daughter to build her perfect salad. He checked on us while we ate and helped us take what we didn’t eat to go. So top tier service. And the food, soooo good! No complaints except we didn’t have enough room to finish it all. Thank you again and we will be back very soon!“

“Seriously, the cutest cafe I’ve ever been to! I drive over an hour round trip to get coffee from here a few times a week now! Every barista is so sweet and kind! However, I have had the pleasure of seeing Maria the most and she is such a sweetheart! The coffee is so worth the drive and I’m so thankful my sister goes every day and talked me into stopping! No other coffee shop compares to this little gem in Hadley! ❤️“

“Food was good, but the chicken gnocchi soup was salty today. I went back to Olive Garden and was very happy. I tried something new today. The Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini was wonderful! The medium heat from the sauce didn't bother me at all! The pumpkin butter cookie cheesecake topped everything off as my dessert. I had a great experience here. I encountered very friendly staff and wonderful service. The atmosphere was great!“

“This place isn't bad but I wouldn't recommend. The nachos we ordered were a joke which is pictured. The salads are good. The potatoes are okay. The sandwiches are subpar and need to be better. Honestly, no matter what you order it looks very thrown together and nothing like the menu. do better.“

“If you’re in the mood for some fried chicken, this Zaxby’s on Hershberger Road is easily one of the best fast food restaurants in Roanoke.
My wife and I DoorDash regularly, and this location has consistently been one of our favorite places to pick up from. The staff is always friendly, professional, and respectful. More importantly, delivery drivers are acknowledged and treated like valued partners instead of an inconvenience, which we truly appreciate.
I especially want to recognize Siah in the drive thru. She is one of the most motivated, compassionate, and genuinely kind employees we’ve encountered. Every interaction we’ve had with her has been positive. She treats people with respect, has a great attitude, and genuinely seems to care about the people she interacts with. Employees like Siah deserve recognition because kindness and compassion can make a bigger difference in someone’s day than they may ever realize.
From management down to the frontline employees, this location is consistently well run. Orders are usually ready on time, communication is good, and even when they’re busy, everyone works hard to keep things moving.
The food has also consistently been fresh, hot, and made correctly. Whether it’s chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches, fries, or Texas toast, we’ve always been happy with the quality.
In a time when genuine customer service can sometimes be difficult to find, this Zaxby’s continues to stand out. Great food, hardworking people, and employees who still understand the importance of treating others with kindness and respect.
A special thank you to Siah for being amazing and compassionate every single time. Please keep being the person you are. It does not go unnoticed.
