Pineapple does belong on pizza, and I'd say Frank agrees. I had one of the best Hawaiian pizzas I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. Perfectly balanced portions of toppings. The pizza itself wasn't a runny mess like most other Hawaiian pizzas; the cheese and toppings held their place very well. The crust was good and firm (not a crispy crust pizza kind of place - more like oven-baked pizza). Overall, an awesome experience.
If you’re into great pie like up north you come here. Typical pizza-place interior atmosphere. Wooden booths, eclectic decor and a bustling front counter. This could be a pizza joint on Long Island or your favorite apizza in New Haven. Service is friendly and attentive. It’s a young crew and they hustle. Food comes quickly and properly. After a 10 hour car ride we were looking for a place to eat, and franks was one of three options open. Safe to say it did not disappoint! The pizza was really good, and the staff was extremely friendly! We came in about half an hour to closing, and they were kind enough to put in some drinks and two pizzas for us! Thank you guys, keep doing amazing!
