Just made our third stop at Stave & Cork. Salem is about halfway on our drive from South Carolina to PA, after visiting relatives. My wife and I like to go to a winery or a wine bar after a day of driving. Stave & Cork popped up on a wine bar search near Roanoke and low and behold, it is a gem! Stave & Cork is an awesome addition to downtown Salem. Very knowledgeable staff and fantastic wine, the cheesecake flight was fun and delicious. Looking forward to coming back again soon!
Went there for my birthday with my fiancé, we absolutely adored it! The interior was gorgeous, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and then the food/wine was wonderful. We started with the flight, just to try some of the selection they had. The woman who helped us was able to put together a perfect tasting based on me saying I like semi-dry.
