Just made our third stop at Stave & Cork. Salem is about halfway on our drive from South Carolina to PA, after visiting relatives. My wife and I like to go to a winery or a wine bar after a day of driving. Stave & Cork popped up on a wine bar search near Roanoke and low and behold, it is a gem! The wine flights are varied and reasonably priced, the small charcuterie board is perfect for two hungry travelers and the trout dip is to die for!! The service is warm and friendly as is the atmosphere in this nicely renovated storefront on Salem's Main Street. We, of course, will be back!

Went there for my birthday with my fiancé, we absolutely adored it! The interior was gorgeous, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and then the food/wine was wonderful. We started with the flight, just to try some of the selection they had. The woman who helped us was able to put together a perfect tasting based on me saying I like semi-dry. We ended up buying a bottle of one of the tastings! The food was also just fantastic. Can't sing their praises enough, ABSOLUTELY going back with some friends later!
