Absolute Gem of a restaurant! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the service was great! This place hit all the marks and definitely a place I will go again when back in town!
1st time going, mama, a good friend and her granddaughter. I had the fried chicken breast (YUM) special, macaroni salad, pinto beans n cornbread, all homemade. Mama. Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes covered in gravy, green beans, excellent choice, friend burger n chips. I actually had a friend of my aunts who was the cook there for many years, Joe, who has since passed, had always wanted to eat there, but never made until last week. We decided to try the Dogwood restaurant based on all of the good reviews. We ordered two of the daily specials, which was catfish and salmon cakes. The food was very good and fresh. It did take about 15 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food. Other than the wait, food was great. ?
