We ate there this morning. The last couple of times the service was decent. Today we had a rude waitress who did not bother to refill our drinks, or come by our table at all. I had to ask where our waffle was that we ordered since she never brought it out. Needless to say I will remember this when the tip option comes up when we have to pay. I tip well for good service not for crappy, rude service. And no they were not overly busy so there was really no excuse!!!!!
Worst Waffle House in Roanoke!!! I don't know who the cook was tonight, August 23rd, but they're trash and don't know how to cook! Food was garbage!!!
The best diner in America! The customer service was excellent. We received our food quickly. The quality of the food was delicious. I had pecan waffles, over medium eggs with hashbrowns that came with ham chunks and melted cheese. I also had a T-bone steak. All good! I highly recommend this place.

Based on the reviews, this Waffle House location is a very nice restaurant with friendly staff. The waffles are fabulous, and the food is great and delicious. The bacon was just right, and they usually have gravy too. The hashbrowns are spot on. The restaurant is clean, as well as the bathroom, making it a diverse, positive environment.
The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. The best server is very personable, and the cook is also great, making a point to interact with customers. The staff is incredible, handling a large, loud group of customers extremely well while keeping up with current customers. This is the best Waffle House experience.
However, there have been a couple of not great experiences with one server. Food has been forgotten a lot, and plates were dropped on a customer once without an apology. Despite this, the overall experience is worth it for what you get, and the staff is SO nice.
