“I LOVE the atmosphere at Mangos, great food and drinks and the live music, especially when The Frequency is playing! 🎶🎶 And… I can’t believe I’m saying this part out loud, BUT I AM older now… (but still running against the wind) 🤦♀️ 😉 The music is often much too loud. You can’t hear the person beside you talk. The music is great, but I still like to be able to have a conversation, too. Overall, I LOVE MANGO’S and always look forward to going there for a night out!“

“Every year we say we are going to check out Hot Shots. Yesterday we finally did.
We entered the main building which really consisted of two rooms. The first had a couple tables and a counter for service. The other room had a bar, couple tables and some arcade machines, not the type that attract kids. We sat at the bar which already had locals on many of the stools. Rachel, the bartender, was friendly and interacted with us and other patrons.
We ordered a couple beers and Keg Tots (stuffed tater tots); we later ordered Kickin' Chicken sandwich with house chips and Chicken cheese steak with fries.
The Keg Tots were OK; wouldn't order them again but had to try. The fried chicken on the Kickin' sandwich was fabulous. I would have preferred palmetto cheese to the pepper jack slice but it was fine. And though the roll was smallish for the cheese steak, it was stuffed with chicken, cheese, peppers and onions.
We ventured out to see the other offerings on the property - another building with a stage, tables & a bar for the weekly bands, an axe barn, and miniature golf. The doors on both the axe barn and the bldg with stage open to the central courtyard which must be nice on summer nights. There is also window service for ice cream. The miniature golf appears well maintained and we look forward to challenging our friends.
We will definitely be back to Hot Shots, another little gem in Moneta.“
