We were just passing through Harrisonburg, today, on the last leg of our cross-country trip. Folks in Harrisonburg: do not sleep on the dumpling house on Port Republic. This newly-opened treasure is bright and friendly. If you're looking for pages and pages of traditional Asian cuisine, this is not your shop. Their short menu is a brag about what they do well; they don't need the extra pages. When I am craving wonton soup, I'm looking for a sturdy, flavorful spoonful...
If you have an Asian taste like me and love spicy food, pork wonton with chili sauce is good! Sweet and spicy. I also like their beef fried rice and always ask for extra chili oil (very spicy).
