This was a timeless favorite of ours and always had good memories however for the past 3 times we’ve driven 45 minutes only to find out they were surprisingly closed. The first time there was a note on the door but the most recent two times there was nothing! I did speak to a lady the next day who said to follow them

So much I can say about this quaint and peaceful restaurant... It was worth every penny and anytime My husband and I are in this area again or passing through we will definitely stop and eat here again!!
When we first walked in, It smelled delicious already... and the staff were all nice as we came in to be seated. Our server (not sure how to spell her name correctly) was Kris. She was the sweetest and best server we've had in a very long time.

Waiting for them to open it was windy and cold. People standing at the door to open at 4:30 standing there at 4:40, they saw the people standing there but still didn’t open the door. So we decided to leave. Not a way to treat your customers.

The Blue Stone Inn is a rustic restaurant that serves excellent food. The service is top-notch, although the wait may be longer than expected. The menu features dishes like the perfectly cooked steak and the delicious salmon, served with sides such as mac & cheese, coleslaw, and salad with asparagus. The dimly lit atmosphere adds to the rustic charm, creating a quaint and memorable dining experience.
The restaurant is often packed, as the food is amazing. The staff, although sometimes overwhelmed, are attentive and kind. While the food is generally excellent, some customers have had mixed experiences, with the steak being more fatty than usual and the fried seafood platter not meeting expectations. However, the restaurant is still highly recommended, especially for its seafood, such as the trout, and its steaks that rival any steakhouse.
