Had wonderful meal with 4 friends at Capital Ale in early May and forgot to post a review. The meal, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. I ordered a (delightful) citrus wheat beer and the grilled cheese sandwich and cup of crab soup combo. Everything was perfect. The crab soup was especially impressive. I eat fresh blue crab regularly and this was high-quality crabmeat. Our server was Gracie and she was WONDERFUL!! Ask for Gracie. We all had a terrific time.
Everything is made in house. I love the black bean burger and everything really. If you get the burgers on Monday when they are cheaper they are good but not the same. So don’t get discouraged to try a burger another time. I also love that they are open late. Very nice people too.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The service was outstanding, and the food exceeded our expectations. Our waitress was fantastic—she took the time to listen to what we liked and made recommendations that were absolutely spot-on.
