The food arrived very quickly at the proper temperature. The cole slaw looked bland but actually had a good flavor & nice crunch. The burger was small but so is the price so can't complain. The milkshake was top notch. Thick & rich and not overly sweet
First time @ Cook Out after son & his family eating there and suggesting we try it! Must say he was not wrong! Love the nostalgic feeling of a drive in right down to the old sounding speaker when ordering! Love how they have God bless America & John 3:16 on their cups. Where else can you choose sides like a quesadilla cheese bites or hushpuppies & get Cheerwine! We tried the burger cheddar style which had cheese bacon grilled onions & mayo , corn dog, hushpuppies...
Don't usually eat inside Cookout.. most people, including ourselves, pick up from the drive through window. Super affordable prices and the food is decent. That is all we need when we are on the run. Best chicken & cheese quesadillas ever! My daughter and I could eat these for months and still crave them the next day. I also like the Hush Puppies even though my kids have no idea what these are. I'm pretty sure my daughter got through her entire JMU senior year...
