Cathy has to be the best waitress on the planet. Maybe it’s just luck, but we’ve eaten in First Watch in Harrisonburg twice in the last month and were seated in Cathy’s section both times. Greeted with a smile, friendly as can be, knows the menu perfectly, offers suggestions when needed. We really made a connection with her - felt like family, but better!😁 You’ve got a real gem there! Really cool place to grab breakfast or brunch, either solo, or with a small group.
The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is really good. The atmosphere is clean and wide open. It can be a little noisy at times, but otherwise I definitely recommend stopping in for a bite.
There is a wide variety of food items to choose from, as well as healthy fruit drinks too.
Be sure to get here before they close at 2 pm!!

But the food is what really stands out. Clean fresh food, minimal processed ingredients, well-balanced dishes - it truly is exceptional and a wonderful place to eat.
There are not many restaurants in Harrisonburg at which I can eat and not feel like crap afterward because of seed oils and so many processed ingredients but this ranks high on the list of my favorites.
