J Petal in Harrisonburg, Virginia, is a wonderful addition to the local community. They offer excellent halal options, including halal lunch meat subs, making it a valuable spot for the Muslim community. Their halal boba drinks are refreshing, and the rolled ice cream with crepes is especially delicious. Professional service, quality food, and a welcoming atmosphere. (If they put up a Halal sign that would be wonderful)
Food was good but… service was so unprofessional lmao. Immediately coming in, there is no music & the smell of fish hits you. Furniture is not well maintained- some type of colorful liquid spill on couch. Nothing wrong with that too much but it’s fine. Not even being a Karen, like I’ve worked food service for years so I’m not even being one, but like they’re lowkey rude. First time here, barely any customers, and somehow still had to find the menu by myself… but...
