Our server was an absolute delight. Menu options were perfect for a steakhouse. The steaks and sides were all outstanding, as was the cosmo and bottle of wine. Will definitely be back when in town next.
Warmly welcomed on arrival as always! Cool as a Cuke cocktail was very refreshing. The dressing on the spring salad was strongly overseasoned. Ribeye and filet cooked perfectly! Caramel on the crème brûlée the tiniest bit over, a faint burnt taste. Wine we chose poured at an appropriate temperature. Service felt rushed, something we haven't experienced previously and the table really needed to be cleared. Otherwise an enjoyable evening and a good meal.
Our first time in Harrisonburg and our first time at Local Chop House. We had an excellent meal from start to finish. If you're visiting or just driving through, don't miss this dining experience - and ask to sit on the sun porch!
