We had never tried this place. Saw it listed online and it was open late so thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did! The brisket sandwich I had was great! The meat was tender and flavorful. It was not greasy but not dry either. The Mac and cheese had just the right amount of cheese and was a perfect complement to my sandwich since I really didn't want fries. There are a lot of options on the menu from salads to smoked meats. Everything was reasonably priced....
Kane S was a very polite and efficient server! The food was good! The restaurant carpet has that terrible dirty water smell! I don’t know why carpet is ever in any restaurants! Please clean your front entry doors, they were a mess and even being held together with tape! The entry was almost a no go for me as it gave ‘dirty vibes’.
Stopped for lunch on a Thursday afternoon after visiting Harrisonburg. Nice college town sports bar. We were seated quickly, had prompt, quality service. Food was typical pub fare; prepared well, quality food, served fast. Husband had the Hickory Burger, it was huge!! Will stop again when in town.
