Fresh seafood and an amazing fresh made salmon spread you have to try!

I’m was visiting from out of town and went there for the first time looking for Marsala wine, not seafood. However, I was drawn to the fresh halibut and, more specifically, to the owner’s delicate handling of the fish. Needless to say, halibut was fresh and delicious. I picked up the Italian Marsala wine as well. I highly recommend.

DUDE!!! This is the only place in town that has sushi-grade seafood. If you don't know what that means- it means that you can eat it raw. I've looked everywhere for this stuff & up until now I've thought that the closest available spot was the Wegmans in Charlottesville. SO FRESH. Pickford #1

Got some amazing fresh bluefin tuna, halibut, and dry scallops. Website was recently updated sharing what seafood was coming in daily. The clean & organized store front was welcoming. Very hospitable service. We discussed cooking methods, other products to be excited for in the future, as well as notable seafood spots in inter-coastal VA. Highly recommend and will be back.

Delicious shrimp! I ordered two pounds of shrimp and Will steamed it for me. While I waited I was offered a glass of wine. Who does that? Pickford's does! Highly recommend.

Best seafood- amazing for sushi!

Gotten salmon a couple of times from here. It’s obvious they take pride in their work and don’t try to cut corners. Glad we found them.

The new salmon spread was a big disappointment. I have been getting this since the original shop and REALLY look forward to it but, I was so disappointed when I got it home. Very bland. No salmon taste. No pieces of salmon. Use to be my Christmas favorite. I will miss it.

Simply, the best of the best for the Home Chef!!!
