My boyfriend got me some of the Caldo de pollo soup when I was sick. It was so good and made me feel better. Highly recommend the soup and everything else I have tried is delicious!

Based on the reviews, Mexi-Deli & University Exxon is the best Mexican food place in Harrisonburg, located inside a gas station. The food is authentic, fantastic, and delicious, with the best Birria and tacos in the burg. The quesabirria is juicy and flavorful, and the burritos are huge and very good no matter the meat. Other menu options include quesadillas, tamales, gorditas, and the adobada. The taco salad is also highly recommended. The couple that runs the store are some of the nicest people, and the staff is awesome and super friendly. They give good recommendations on what to order. The pricing is very reasonable, and they have a great selection of Mexican candy and joe tea. This spot is definitely worth a try.
