“One lady tried to skimp me on my cheese when I got the nachos, while the other lady was adding toppings she even asked the first girl if she had put cheese, to which she replied yes. The second lady ended up putting more cheese on. If she didnt I would have just walked out because the amount of cheese on the nachos was dreadful.“

“I didn't know what to get I knew I didn't want a taco or something I'd had before. They lady told me some things I ended up getting Sopas with steak. OMG it was so good and I ate them all I didn't think I'd finish but it was so good I had to. $13 but it sure was worth it and when I opened the lid they looked so beautiful props to the lady behind the grill it was prepared beautifully nice fresh ingredients too. I'll be back for more Sopas.“

“Starting with the obvious, you order at the counter, they give you plastic forks, you bus your own table, and there's no ambience whatsoever. So why rate it five stars? The food rocks! This is the kind of Mexican food I ate in SoCal and Tijuana. The carnitas were excellent-- always my first test because so few restaurants do them well. The green enchiladas are cooked in a delicious homemade sauce that has just a little kick. And the guacamole-- well, I make a pretty good one, but theirs is better. There's quite a variety on the menu, and I look forward to trying every dish. I've been searching for the real thing since I moved east, and this is it!“

“** GOOGLE REVIEW FROM A FEW DAYS AGO ** Ordered a Burrito Supreme (chicken) with an "Agua de Jamaica" for my first time eating at La Morena. I was offered a taste sample of the "Agua de Jamaica" from the cashier, which was a nice gesture since I was unsure if I'd like the taste or not. The service was quick and smooth, the food was very good. My only criticism is that the beverages are a bit pricey... The "Agua de Jamaica" was $7.00.“

“Came here couple months ago with my spouse to have a little date night away from the kids. The place was almost empty which I didn’t mind at all our order took a little long to come out and I was disappointed with my food but it was my fault for not fully understanding what I was about to get because the menu is a little confusing but the manager was amazing and didn’t charge me for the food because I didn’t even eat it. I will definitely come here again once I get a change to be away from my kiddos for a little date and I will try again with the food )))

“No issues at all. Clean, quiet, nice pool and breakfast. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is no elevator to the second level, but fortunately there were first floor rooms available. Several things to mention, the breakfast offers waffles, fruit, yogurt, real scrambled eggs, ham, sausage and more. The entire property is clean and updated, TVs are big, and the beds are Heavenly comfortable- we will definitely return.“
